When reading John 6 I came across the following “two-liner:”
Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who it was that would betray Him. And He was saying, “For this reason I have said to you, that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted him from the Father” (John 6:64-65).
Here, we see God’s foreknowledge of all events being that He knew “from the beginning who they were who did not believe.” In response to this understanding Christ specifically taught “that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted him from the Father.”
Arminians will claim that God predestines those that will come to believe. Clearly, this is not the case. God predestines those who He knew He would later grant the grace of faith.
Loved it! Wish it was longer! haha but nevertheless, good job 🙂
